Property Description

Tate's Ski Haven is a big, comfortable 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath half duplex with a 2 car garage. Sleeps 8. Private indoor hot tub makes it easy to relax after a day outdoors. Incredible mountain views and a large south facing deck. Over 2700 sq. ft. of living space. Mountain and southwestern decor. Fully equipped, large kitchen with beautiful kitchen island that seats 4. Lots of prep space for meals with family or friends. Dining table seats 6. Flatscreen, wood fireplace, wet bar and comfortable leather seating in living room. Free WiFi and cable. Full size washer and dryer in the unit for convenience. Every window has a mountain view. Entry loft area provides even more space.

The Corinthian Hills Clubhouse is just around the corner or down the lawn area with heated outdoor pool that has an indoor entry, sauna, hot tub, lounge, table, gas fireplace, wet bar, restrooms and outdoor playground.

Parking
2 car garage and an additional 2 cars allowed in the driveway. No street parking is allowed.

Location
Easy access to I-70. In the winter it's just 7 minutes to Keystone Resort, 15 minutes to Copper Mountain, Arapahoe Basin or Loveland, 25 minutes to Breckenridge and 30 minutes to Vail. From Jan-Mar enjoy the Dillon Lake Loops which are flat, groomed trails for hiking, cross country skiing, fat tire biking and snowshoeing on frozen Lake Dillon.

Less than a 5-7 minute drive to restaurants, brewpubs, nightlife, City Market, REI, coffee, ski/board rentals, shops, bowling and the Silverthorne Outlets.

An easy drive or walk/bike on the rec path to the Dillon Amphitheater for concerts or Friday Farmers Market from June through September. The rec/bike path has over 55 miles of paved path. Also less than a 5 minute drive or a longer walk to the Dillon Marina for boat, sailboat, kayak and SUP rentals and the Tiki Bar. Just a couple blocks to the trail access for the National Forest for hiking, mountain biking or snowshoeing. Just a few minutes drive to the Dillon Disc Golf 18-hole main course and 12-hole family course.

It was stocked well with everything that we needed for cooking and sleeping, and when there was a small issue with the hot tub it was dealt with quickly which was much appreciated. Great central location to allow for access to many recreational activities!

  My women's group has stayed here off and on for 30 years. Thank you for the addition of placemats. We like the improvements to the property, but the maintenance has slipped a bit. We had no dishwasher pods, and some of the appliances were showing a need for maintenance, such as the refrigerator indicating that a filter needed replacing. We would still love to see some actual glass wineglasses and rocks glasses. The property management company is always courteous and helpful.

  Overall we loved staying at Tates. It had a great configuration of room/sleeping arrangements for our 3 generations, ages 16-70. Staff was great and Mike very helpful when I had some questions upon check-in. My only word of caution is to be prepared for a LOT of steps, since almost every room is on a different level. It was in a convenient location, although I think it would be difficult to find after dark as outdoor lighting was limited.

  8 of us enjoyed a great ski vacation at this Dillon, CO home. It was a good house for our group that needed lots of individual sleeping spaces. The house is multi level so be prepared for lots of steps. Sleeping spaces were pretty private. We were able to get to Keystone, Breckenridge, Vail and Beaver Creek all within 45 minutes.

  1) plug in master bath vanity area doesn't work
  2) shortage of decent water glasses and wine glasses

  We have been coming to keystone for years and needed a bigger house to stay in. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The hot tub was convenient, although the service guy put too much chlorine, we were happy to know it was getting serviced. The layout had a lot of stairs but allowed for everyone to have their own space. The upstairs landing was convenient for all our ski gear. The driveway got pretty icy and we wish we had access to some salt or sand.

  Every year friends and family get together for a pond hockey tournament in Dillon. Each year we've looked at various locations and this place was the best! It's a beautiful home, close to everything you could want (in town, skiing, Dillon Reservoir, etc.) and had plenty of space for everyone. Also love the fact that we had an indoor hot tub after a cold day on the pond!

  Great, quiet location with nice views close to town, but not in town. The place was clean with a nice updated kitchen, however the rest of the rooms could really use some updating. The grill was in tough shape and shortbox 4 door pick up would not fit in the garage. Also, it had 5 or 6 levels but was nice for family to spread out after long days together.

  Overall, we were enjoyed our stay. The house was conveniently located to skiing and restaurants. While the house had ample room and was well stocked, it should be noted that it is on 6 levels so the stairs could be a problem for some guests. Also, the loft is right off the garage so not ideal as an extra sleeping space because all the shoes, ski boots and coats are left there. With regards to cleaning, the bathrooms could have used some deep cleaning. There appeared to be something like construction dust on the countertops and bathtubs.
